Time to start this up a bit.
You can set you stuff for Verteran which unlocks certain things early..
Also, if you reserved the Limited edition you get certain things like guns, Armor and such..
We need to get it listed and how to make it work. Also if there are any requisites on using them in game.
BTW, I do have the game, it just killed my damn 7600GT Video Card...
Looking at getting a GTX260 it appears....

not sure but I think the only thing the vetran status gets you is the M1 carbine. As for the limited edition, i think you are supposed to get the tracer dart, secondary gun on vehicles and infantry sensor on vehicles.
the gun comes as a perk, don't remember if you get this right away or not. Tracer dart I got immediately, same with the sensor. |

You can also get early unlock infantry armour upgrade if you are high enough veteran status....I am still trying to find a big list of everything and how you get them all, IE: A list of unlock progression via levels and via soldier type.

did you ever download the instructions? I was going to but forgot. I know it was a large file. maybe its in there. |

It auto-links to the email address you log into. If your BC2 account uses the same email as the one you log into the veteran page, you're set. That said, the M1 is broken as an unlock for most. It was available for a few days, then went kaput--nobody knows why. The veteran page needs some desperate fixing up it seems.

If stuff isn't working, you have to open a ticket with EA (meaning if you can't put your games cd keys or link your console games at http://veteran.battlefield.com/ ) - it took just over a month to resolve my xbox 360 games linking issue.
Now I have a ticket open to get Battlefield Secret Weapons key to work - says "already in use". Yea, right. Bought new years ago!
Things are still getting worked out - patience is the key.

Well, I got my BF2 Veteran status to update using the same email address as my current BBC2 login. My BF2142 doesn't work though.
It's my understanding that the content upgrade is broken (garand?) anyway so I guess it doesn't matter right now. |

| same here 2142 stuff didnt work (invalid user/password) but i did get my bf2 account to register. but no gun so.... |

i did it when beta came out and bf2, bf2142 had no problems.
